Although Skipton is hardly a difficult place for electric traction to reach! Admittedly an electric loco is rare to the point that in the 10+ years I've lived along the line I've never seen one.

The 57 and the gold-buffered Driving Van Trailer returned with train 1A24 towards London. Later, 47 830 appeared to pick up the errant electric locomotive. Meanwhile, 47 854 ran well with a railtour to Llandudno and the Conwy Valley.
